OUR VISION
Founded on the 8th of August 2021, our Vision is to drastically transform the lives of out of school children living in underserved communities by providing Free, high-quality education, nutritious food, school uniforms, books, and essential resources.
This will help to ensure access to quality education, end child hunger, promote healthy development, alleviate child poverty there by empowering every child to reach their full potential. The inspiration for the school arose from witnessing the stark educational disparities and the plight of out-of-school children in Akute, one out of many underserved communities in Ogun State, Nigeria.
We believe that every child has the right to a quality education, regardless of their background or financial situation hence we envisioned a place where every child could access education, nutritious food, and the support they need to thrive,
regardless of their socio-economic background.
Our Track Records
FREE BOOKS, UNIFORMS AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
To help our students focus on their studies without the worry of basic necessities, our education program includes healthy and Nutritious Meals provided daily to support all round development.
SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAM
We also give them free school uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, and other essential materials at no cost. In order to ensure full and confident participation in school activities we focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. This includes; a well-rounded curriculum, qualified and experienced educators, safe and well-equipped classrooms and learning spaces.
OUR GOAL
By 2034, Kingston Nursery and Primary School aims to reach 1 Million out of school children by providing free and quality education, food, clothing, and resources.
By 2034 through strategic partnerships with forward looking individuals and organizations we would have established several impactful programs that align with the SDGs to end child hunger, ensure access to quality education, and alleviate child poverty. In order to achieve this goal, we seek to expand our network of schools and community centers in several underserved communities, develop sustainable initiatives that ensure the long-term impact and scalability of our programs and advocate for policies and practices that support the rights and needs of out-of-school children. Our commitment to these goals will enable us to create lasting change, offering hope and opportunities to the children who need it most.

About The Founder
Dr Victor Basola is an Advocate of Free Education in Africa. Driven by a profound belief in the transformative power of education for African children, Dr. Basola founded Kingston Nursery and Primary School. This pioneering institution provides completely free education to children from low-income families and underserved communities. Founded on August 8, 2021, in Akute, Ogun State, Nigeria, Kingston Nursery and Primary School stands as a testament to Dr. Basola’s commitment to education.
The school offers a comprehensive package that includes Free Textbooks, Free Notebooks, Free Sets of Uniforms, and One Nutritious Meal a Day. Despite these provisions, the quality of education remains exceptionally high. The early days of Kingston Nursery and Primary School were marked by significant challenges. Limited resources, financial constraints, and community skepticism posed substantial obstacles.
However, through relentless determination, strategic partnerships, and the unwavering support of volunteers and donors, the school overcame these hurdles. In September 2021, Kingston Nursery and Primary School proudly opened its doors to its first group of students, providing them with the education and support they had long been denied. Dr. Basola envisions educating ONE MILLION CHILDREN by replicating this free school model in other remote communities across Nigeria.
He believes this initiative will substantially reduce the staggering number of out-of-school children in Nigeria, currently estimated by UNICEF to be 10.5 million. According to Dr. Basola, all children, regardless of their circumstances, deserve access to quality education.
